Philosophy
Veterinary medical care is
best achieved through a collaborative
team effort by working
together to enhance your pet's health.
As
a proponent of integrative medicine, I can provide additional
treatment options for my patients, including acupuncture and Chinese
herbal medications, which do not interfere with Western medication
such as antibiotics, NSAIDs or steroids.
I believe veterinary medical care is best achieved as a
collaborative team effort: primary veterinarians and veterinary
specialists such as veterinary acupuncturists, internists, surgeons
etc. working together to enhance your pet’s health. "As
veterinarians, we have many tools in our medical bag. Drawing on
alternative therapies gives me another tool to boost patient care."
As a family member, your pet's health is important and addressing
your questions and concerns is an integral part in managing pain,
treating Illness and maintaining wellness.
As veterinarians, we have many tools in our medical bag. Drawing
on alternative therapies gives me another tool to boost patient
care. When treatment options for patients in my Western medicine
practice were exhausted, especially for those who were not able to
continue on steroids, I became increasingly frustrated. My efforts
to improve animal health led me to acupuncture, herbal and
nutritional therapies.
